In the recent weeks we’ve been working on a new type of resin and wood product – table lamps! We haven’t previously tried our hand at home lighting, but we love testing new things.
Working out how the lighting components would work took a fair bit of research, but we came up with a plan. We deliberately picked timber that required more resin, so that the light source could project through the resin section. We created rustic stands for the resin pieces to sit on, and we routered out segments in the stands so we could add strip lights.
Our first lamp batch of lamps are pictured below, made from Yew and damson wood. The resin was pigmented with blue/green tints.
Saw the lamps at Hever Decorative Fair - they were amazing, so beautiful with the diffused light from below/behind.
